The simulation center at Mbarara University of Science and Technology aims to scale up the introduction of simulation into new health professional training institutions in East and West Africa through Faculty development courses.

Teams of members from Catholic University of Health and Allied Sciences in Mwanza Tanzania and University of Jos in Nigeria, underwent a four day faculty development course that included scenario design and execution. The course closed off with a cocktail party that involved handover of certificates and equipment.
