Mbarara University of science and technology (MUST), University of Calgary (U of C), the Stavanger Acute Medicine Foundation for Education (SAFER) and the consortium for Affordable Medical Technologies in Uganda (CAMTech Uganda) have partnered to implement simultion based educational modalities with the aim of improving maternal, new born and child(MNCH) outcomes in Uganda. Simulation-based learning is now the norm in medical, nursing and paramedical training in highest income settings. There remains a critical need to operationalize simulation-based learning in resource-constrained settings.
