Sim for Life Project, MUST and CUAMM Doctors with Africa partnered to build the capacity of frontline birth attendants in the Karamoja region, with an aim to improve maternal and newborn outcomes for this region through skills training using simulation methodology.

HBS and HMS suites of courses are specifically designed for health workers in low resource centers using low fidelity manikins for skills training using simulation methodology. Participants for this training were midwives from Napak and surrounding districts of Abim, Kotido, Nakapiripirit, and Moroto.

The trainees for these courses will be midwives in the Karamoja region and tutors at Matany Nursing training school.
